Password Change Management Over Transition Weekend

bpos_logo_sm  As BPOS Administrators work to get their online company, services and end-users ready for Transition, it is important to understand how Password Changes are managed over this Transition Weekend.

BPOS uses the Password Change Notification Service (PCNS) to pickup password changes and synchronize them into Office 365.  This is done so the BPOS user will have credentials within Office 365 after Transition completes.

Admins have asked “When do/does password synchronization stop being performed?”, as this is an important part of the BPOS admins job, to make sure their users can login to Office 365 after Transition.

The PCNS synchronization process continues over the Transition Weekend, meaning that if a user’s password expires over this weekend or they want/need to change their Password, they can do so using one of the following methods:
